Master Gianni Giambi
Master Gianni Giambi began studying Tae Kwon Do at age four under his father Grand Master Mark Giambi who is the founder and master instructor of Young Brothers Tae Kwon Do Schools in Houston, Texas. At age twelve Master Giambi began training with Olympic team coach Jean Lopez and alongside multiple Olympians including Steven Lopez– the most accomplished Tae Kwon Do athlete in history. While competing Master Giambi attained multiple titles at state and national competitions as well as being part of the AAU National Team from 2002-2004. Competing until 2008 he gained valuable international experience competing in the Pan American region and Europe. Unfortunately his competition years would be cut short after a series of injuries. As a coach Master Giambi has produced multiple national team members in the cadet, junior and senior age categories. Two of which have made podium at cadet and junior world competitions. At present The Houston Center for Taekwondo is the training home to three USA national team members. Master Giambi is currently the only coach to have held three national team head coaching positions simultaneously.
